
Tina Lesyk is the CEO & Lead Planner of Pineapple Eventworks. She has been in the event-planning industry for over 15 years and has a passion for helping people turn their event vision into a reality. Tina loves reducing event-related stress, problem-solving, and ultimately helping people enjoy some of the biggest events of their lives.
Before devoting her life to Pineapple Eventworks, Tina worked at the Culinary Institute of Canada in Charlottetown, PE, for 10 years. She began her journey as a dining room server and went on to teach Basic Bartending classes. Next, Tina prepared and trained hundreds of hospitality students for work in high-end, fine-dining service environments. In the last six years of her tenure, she was the Institute’s first Banquet and Catering Coordinator. It was during this work term that Tina realized her passion for the event and wedding industry.
During her career she has planned, coordinated, and provided staff to over 1000 small and large scale events, including over 100 weddings and two royal visits. Tina’s calm, unflappable demeanour alongside her wealth of experience in the events space has contributed to her success and continued growth in the industry.
Amanda Langlois is the company’s first Assistant Wedding & Event Planner. Amanda joined the team in 2021 as an internship student. Her and Tina joined forces on a more permanent level in May 2022. In Amanda’s short time with Pineapple Eventworks she has assisted at over 25 weddings and numerous events. Not only does Amanda assist with planning/coordinating events, she is also one of our main Bartenders.
Before becoming an integral part of team Pineapple, Amanda worked in several customer service roles and as a Hostess & Bartender in some of Halifax’s reputable restaurants. She completed her 2 year diploma program at NSCC in Business-Hospitality.
